GUEST ROOM

The Residence Mauritius Hotel offers 135 rooms, from 54 to 58 m2 and 28 suites, from 86 to 164 m2 decorated with an inspired blend of sobriety and elegance.

Reliving the magnificence and splendour of yesteryear’s palaces, a butler is assigned to each suite and room of The Residence Mauritius Resort who will unpack and pack your luggage, run a bath and take care of your laundry and provide ironing service.

The sun's dance on the shutters sifts into the interior creating a melody of light and dark, its mottled shadows wavering over a muted color-scheme of white and delicate shades of beige, picking out harmonies of honey-colored woods and wrought iron, highlighting nuances in the sandy tiles. In the bathrooms marble and wood are elegantly combined.

The final touch to perfect the refined atmosphere in the evening is the few drops of Ylang Ylang that are delicately placed on ceramic rings warmed by the bedside lamps.

DINING & ENTERTAINMENT

The hotel prides itself on its cuisine, where native produce of the island is blended with a diversity of fine recipes from around the world offering a symphony of subtle aromas, tastes and colors which can be savoured in all the hotel's restaurants.

The Dining Room
The restaurant is made entirely of wood and delicately positioned overlooking the pool. It is an open invitation to discover the thousand and one savours of a sophisticated cuisine. A sumptuous breakfast offers both Western and local specialities, as well as a selection of freshly squeezed fruit juices.

The atmosphere of the restaurant and cuisine changes to an à la carte menu in the evening. The heady spices of Mauritius are combined with international recipes, producing a fusion of enticing flavors.

Open from 7:30 to 10:30 am and from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

The Verandah
The lunch menu features a choice of exciting light dishes served around the pool overlooking the sea. An impressive selection of toasted sandwiches, oven cooked pizzas, generous salads and homemade ice creams are offered.

The Plantation
The marriage of a spectacular oceanfront setting with an original approach to the freshest seafood and Creole cuisine has made this restaurant one of the favorites of the island. At night, live Sega dancing performances and original local entertainment are provided several times a week. The restaurant is a planter's house by the beach.

The Gourmet Kiosque
Located close to the swimming pool, the Gourmet Kiosque serves delicious sweet snacks such as waffles, pancakes and an assortment of ice creams.

Open from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

The Bar
This 500m2 lounge is decorated with wide sofas, comfortable armchairs and discreet lighting. The ideal place to enjoy a late breakfast, traditional tea in the afternoon or an evening cocktail. Live musical entertainment is provided until midnight.
