OVERVIEW

At One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mauritian influences reign supreme. Originally opened in 1975 and remodeled in 1999, the resort’s relaxed and discreet luxury is complemented by service that is attentive, yet unobtrusive. Here, terraced and balconied rooms all face out privately to the Indian Ocean. Under the calm sway of thousands of coconut palms, immaculate gardens run down to the edge of the coral-sand beach, which seamlessly wraps the peninsula for over a mile.

The sheltered lagoon provides calm waters for an array of water sports accessible within steps and idyllic for adults and children alike. Deft skills dispense sublime calm and confidence at the spa, a discreet sanctuary with its own private lap pool. The lush Gary Player 9-hole golf course situated in the resort's grounds has its own Golf Academy and clubhouse.

GUEST ROOM

Suites are handsome spaces of fine proportion, offering vistas of the deep blue of the Indian Ocean. All suites feature a private terrace facing either the ocean or cove, or a door opening onto a tropical garden. Spacious bathrooms are beautifully appointed, with great cascading showers. All guests have personalised 24-hour butler service.

Panoramic windows seem to magically bring the azure sea and lagoon close enough to touch. Beds are covered with Egyptian cotton sheets, piled high with goose down pillows. Every piece of hand selected furniture along with the artful colours of Indian Ocean spices contribute to the suites’ gentle ambience.

The resort spa is nestled amongst a lush tropical landscape overlooking a reflecting pool with ocean views and offers holistic spa treatments, comprehensive fitness programmes, nutritional advice, pedicures and manicures by Bastien Gonzalez and hairstyling.

This serene One&Only Spa by ESPA is nestled amongst a lush tropical landscape overlooking a reflecting pool with ocean views. Dappled sunlight streams through billowing sheers into the spa relaxation room and shell-encrusted light fixtures are complemented with subtle tones of amber and gold throughout the spa, reflecting the warmth of the island’s spectacular sunsets.

Garden Spa Pavilion - Our unique outdoor spa pavilion is suspended over water amidst the tropical gardens of One&Only Le Saint Géran. Journey through an exotic garden walkway to reach this secluded sanctuary. Enjoy idyllic views over running streams, flora and fauna while you drift away to the gentle sounds of nature. A special experience which can be booked alone or shared with a friend or loved one.

Beauty Centre - Within the resort’s spa and beauty complex, guests may enjoy hair care and styling, and the pampering nail care developed by renowned pedicurist Bastien Gonzalez.

Yoga - The welcoming and calming nature of the resort provides secluded spots ideal for practising the Art of Yoga in serene environments. For ease of body and mind, yoga sessions are offered each Tuesday at 4pm, Thursday at 9am and Saturday at 9am. Guests may also choose private sessions that focus on different forms of Yoga.

Activities - A morning scuba dive? Putting with the golf pro on the Gary Player designed golf course, or honing skills on the tennis courts? From aerobics and yoga to beach volleyball and water-skiing, Le Saint Géran offers a wide array of activities. Enthusiastic and highly trained staff attend to the specific interests of each guest. And children are cared for in the enriching and engaging KidsOnly Club.

Guests are offered several complimentary activities while on property including unlimited Water Skiing across the protected lagoon, snorkeling, glass bottom boat trips, complimentary Green Fees and use of the 9-hole Golf Course, play on the synthetic grass Tennis Courts and free KidsOnly Club access for all children from 4 to 11 years.

KidsOnly - KidsOnly is a fully supervised club for children aged 4-11 years. The complimentary club offers a range of daily programmes and age-appropriate activities between the hours of 10am and 10pm.

The KidsOnly Club is a shipwreck theme following the original Le Saint Géran story with sails, wood plank walls, barrels and centre post to simulate ship elements. There is a games and arts and crafts area; a computer room featuring four slim Apple iMacs, printing facilities and Wi-Fi access; a movie room equipped with seventh generation video game systems and the latest games for all ages; plus a colorful Toddler room with dedicated outside sand play area. The large exterior playground features a swimming pool and private dining area leading to an extended grass play area. A variety of exciting themed activities, run by our professional KidsOnly counselors await all our young guests and their families for a memorable experience.

Children under four years old must always be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Baby-sitters are available at a nominal charge.
