Each of its three restaurant venues offer its distinctive ambience to guests having a fancy for either a convivial, musical or personal set up. In any case, there is room for flexibility and everywhere the same quality in execution. Couleurs & Saveurs » : international buffets

(Restaurant with smoking and non-smoking zones) To start off a great day, help yourself to a lavish American breakfast buffet anytime between 7h00 and 10h30. Hot drinks will be served to you directly at table. When the night has come, as from 19h00 the restaurant opens the way to a mouth-watering tour some of the world’s finest cuisines. Around the international buffet, open as late as 22h30 – take a savory halt at the varied European, Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Indian food stations. Each one will uncover a new array for a pleasurable discovery every day. For a lighter choice, the salad buffet offers as tasty a meal, and the luxury of having one’s fancy executed right away by a cook in attendance at the instant salad counter. In addition, there is a soup corner; a pasta corner and a fast grill corner for fish, poultry and meat. And when it comes to desserts, the dedicated corner follows the spoilt-for-choice general rule with a tantalizing array of diverse sweets, pastry and fresh fruits.

Sugar : The gastronomic restaurant

There the time is always right to enjoy a languorous aperitif and later on a digestive and cigar, in the delightful embrace of hushed and relaxing music. In the subdued ambience of the sumptuous interior dining room, an expert play on light sheds drama on the walled exhibition of wines from around the world’s cellars. Its intimacy is echoed in privacy by the romantic open-air islets set amidst the pond where one can retreat to for an especially romantic dinner. The inventive, unconventional and uplifting menu, brings to new life our local spices and savors through an exquisite

Set alongside the peaceful brook, facing the lagoon, the beach restaurant is the relaxed lunch venue par excellence. It opens between 12h30 and 15h00; offers a real seaside menu which takes its fresh, crisp and braised inspiration from shared similarities between Mediterranean and local Creole cuisine, turning out some fast-yet-tasty meals such as deliciously fresh vegetables salads, grills and sandwiches. In the same vein desserts there prioritize fresh fruits. After sundown, from 19h00 to 22h00, the beach restaurant dresses up in a deluxe pub fashion, starring seafood delights and a different Mauritian Tasting special menu each day. Theme evenings make this venue one that is packed up with festive ambience every night.

THE BARS

Aquaria
The main bar - the focal point of hotel life - is centrally set on thepond. Comfortable and easy-going furniture make it the ideal spot to enjoy a relaxed refreshment, and a wonderful choice of cocktails any time between 10h00 and 23h00. For anyone wanting just to laze around, the bar ensures service for quick salads and sandwiches at lunch time; snacks for late afternoon – from 15h00 to 17h30. Music shows, and theme entertainment, crown the evenings there.

Welcoming in its conception, the laid-back upstairs bar which is in fact just off reception lounge at entrance level. It offers a beautiful panoramic view across the ponds and gardens. Ideally located close to the reception lounge, boutiques and conference rooms, this venue welcomes alike newcomers and business people taking part in professional events. In the evening, the club spirit of the place prevails as it becomes the hideout for billiard amateurs.

Set amidst the sensational garden, besides the resort's natural river, the SPA invites guests to revel in a world of holistic caring for an exclusive experience of body and mind rebalancing. Devoutly conceived and prepared by expert staff to shed a special light on your stay at Plantation, a large choice of personalized facial and body treatments awaits those who want to cross over for an uplifting moment out of time. Ten private cabins - of which two are double cabins, bathing in natural light, each have either an individual shower cubicle or a bath and all are fully fitted with state-of-the art marine hydrotherapy equipment. The two double cabins offer in addition the luxury of a private Whirlpool bath.

The concept and method of the « Chromatherapy »
Inspired by Chinese traditional medicine in which the body is considered both from its physical and energy aspects, colour therapy is based on the Yin-Yang principle and the fundamental elements of Chinese traditional medicine - wood, fire, earth, metal, water - each of which are in turn expressed by five colours, namely green, red, yellow, blue, purple. Plantation's SPA holds the exclusive use of « Phytobiodermie »- a Swiss brand of facial, body and hair treatments, all developed from natural ingredients only (clay, seaweed, plankton, plants, oil-elements and essential oils). The Spa's treatments successfully merge traditional knowledge and know-how with the use high-tech equipment, all for wonderful results. The first step to a personalised treatment is an individual diagnosis based on an observation of body and facial reflex zones; morphology; energy bio-rhythm. Any prescribed treatment therefore perfectly matches the guest's specific needs.
