OVERVIEW

The InterContinental Mauritius Resort Balaclava Fort is located on one of the most pristine stretches of beach overlooking the Bay of Balaclava. Offering 210 well-appointed rooms, the resort is just a few metres from Baie aux Tortues, which 17th-century sailors named after the many tortoises in the area. A trip to the Central Market of Port Louis reveals handmade crafts and cuisine representing the different cultures and ethnicities of Mauritius, including Creole, Indian, Chinese and Muslim. The hotel is located just north of the capital, a 15-minute drive from the clubs and sights of Grand Baie and 50 minutes from Plaisance International Airport.

InterContinental Mauritius Resort is located on the beach overlooking the Bay of Balaclava on the north-west coast of the island.

Just north of the capital Port Louis and only 15 minutes by car from the restaurants and nightlife of Grand Baie, the InterContinental Mauritius Resort is ideally situated for leisure, history and culture. Baie aux Tortues is only a few meters away and was named by 17th century sailors after the many tortoises in the area. The InterContinental Mauritius Resort is a welcome addition to the luxury accommodation on the island and its inspired design gives way to ocean views from all the split level rooms plus an impressive range of restaurants and facilities.

Deluxe Ocean View Rooms are located on either the ground, 1st or 2nd floor.

Deluxe Jacuzzi Ocean View Rooms are located on the 2nd floor and have an adjoining covered terrace with whirlpool bath.

Family Rooms are the same as Deluxe Ocean View Rooms but also have a connecting room for children and are located on either the ground or 1st floor.

Presidential Ocean Suites are much more spacious with a separate living room, two terraces, one of which with a whirlpool bath and are located on the 2nd floor.

Noble House
Noble House is our Asian Fusion restaurant serving Asian food in a modern and elegant atmosphere. Our chef offers creative presentations made with authentic Asian ingredients and spices. Try the Chinese Noodles, Roasted Duck or Grilled Prime steak served with Asian mushrooms and balsamic teriyaki sauce. The bar features an extensive wine list and special Asian-style cocktails.
